Diomede's Sapsucker (Elysia diomedea)

It's a species of nudibranch (sea slug) that reaches a maximum lenght of 4 inches. They are to be found in algal beds and shallow areas down to 15 feet. They primarly feed on the floral saps of algae. The name nudibranch was derived from they way they extract oxygen in the water breathing in the so-called naked and exposed gills.
